AirVape Enso

The AirVape Enso uses a hybrid heating system that combines conduction from the oven walls with convection airflow through the chamber. This dual approach extracts more evenly than pure conduction devices at similar price points. The ceramic-coated oven heats up in roughly 25 seconds. The vapour path runs through an isolated channel that keeps the mouthpiece comfortable even at high temperatures. Draw resistance is moderate — not as open as a desktop but looser than many pen-style portables.

Temperature control on the Enso spans 200 °F to 428 °F (93 °C to 220 °C), adjustable in single-degree steps via the OLED display. For dry herb, 365–385 °F (185–196 °C) is the flavour sweet spot. Pushing to 400–420 °F (204–215 °C) produces thicker clouds and stronger effects at the cost of some terpene detail. The Enso also handles concentrates with an included wax insert — set the temperature to around 450 °F for best results with concentrates. A session timer counts down from 5 minutes with an option to extend.

The Enso fits comfortably in a palm and weighs under 120 grams, making it one of the lighter portables in its class. The 1600 mAh battery delivers about 6–8 sessions per charge, depending on temperature. USB-C charging takes around 90 minutes from empty. The magnetic mouthpiece cap keeps the device pocket-safe when not in use. AirVape includes a carrying case with the Enso, which protects the device and holds a small supply of material. The compact form factor makes it a solid travel companion.

Maintenance on the Enso is straightforward. After each session, brush out the oven with the included tool while it is still slightly warm — residue clears more easily before it cools and hardens. The mouthpiece screen should be soaked in isopropyl alcohol weekly for about 10 minutes, then rinsed and dried. The ceramic oven can be wiped with an iso-dampened cotton swab. Avoid flooding the oven with liquid. Replace the screen every few months if draw resistance increases despite cleaning — fresh screens are inexpensive and restore airflow immediately.

The AirVape Enso's built-in battery delivers 5-6 full sessions on a single charge. USB-C charging takes about 60 minutes to full capacity. The LED indicator shows remaining charge in four levels. For day trips, a portable power bank extends usage. Passthrough charging is not supported — wait until charging completes before use.
