AirVape’s introductory article describes the technology as a “state-of-the-art convection system”. No additional conduction heating is mentioned. The previous dual-heating classification and the resulting claims about simultaneously heated chamber walls were therefore incorrect.

The cups separate the material being used from the base device and make switching and cleaning easier. Only use cups and materials approved by AirVape for the specific ENSŌ system. The manufacturer describes the device as an electric hookah platform; its use differs from that of a small dry-herb chamber.

The broad temperature range covers different cup and material types. High settings are not a quality objective in themselves: they increase heat exposure and vapour intensity. Start with a low setting and increase it only gradually, provided that the instructions and material being used permit this.

AirVape specifies 5,000 mAh, a runtime of up to two hours and a charging time of approximately 1 hour 45 minutes with at least 15 V / 30 W. The previous 6,000-mAh specification was incorrect. Runtime and charging time vary with temperature, battery age and power supply.

At around 33 cm tall, 12 cm in diameter and weighing 2.55 kg, the ENSŌ requires a stable, level surface. Its water fill and glass components increase the risk during transport. Before moving it, switch it off, allow it to cool and remove the water according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Clean the water path, glass and cups regularly and allow them to dry completely. Never immerse electrical components. The ENSŌ is suitable for users seeking an electric hookah with water filtration; a conventional portable vaporizer is better suited to discreet mobile use.
