Puffco Peak Pro V2 — Onyx

The Peak Pro V2 offers four temperature presets plus unlimited custom profiles via the Puffco Connect App (Bluetooth):

Using the app, exact temperatures between 204 and 340 degrees Celsius can be set and saved as profiles. The LED colours can also be customised. The app is optional — the device also works without it using the four presets.

With up to 40 heating cycles per charge, the Peak Pro V2 offers the longest battery life of all Puffco devices. For comparison: the New Peak manages ~35 cycles, the Pivot ~15.

Charging is via USB-C or Qi wireless charging. The wireless charging option is practical for use on a desk — simply place it on a Qi pad.

The battery is built in and cannot be replaced by the user.

The Peak Pro V2 has integrated Vortex percolator glass that filters and cools the vapour through water. Compared with dab pens without water, the vapour is noticeably smoother and gentler on the lungs.

The Vortex percolator creates a rotating water vortex that cools the vapour particularly efficiently. The glass is removable and available separately — there are also aftermarket glass attachments.

The included Joystick Carb Cap regulates airflow during the dab for even vaporisation.

The body of the Peak Pro V2 has a reinforced base for greater stability. At around 355 g, the device is heavier than a pen, but still portable.

Operation is via a single button on the device or via the Puffco Connect App. The button controls temperature selection, heating cycle, and battery status display. Haptic feedback (vibration) signals when the target temperature has been reached and when the cycle has ended.

The LED lighting on the base can be individually customised via the app — colours, animations, and brightness.

After each session, remove the 3DXL Chamber and wipe it out with a cotton bud and isopropanol. The chamber can also be soaked in isopropanol.

Rinse the glass regularly with warm water and, if needed, with isopropanol. Residual water in the glass can encourage mould growth — empty any remaining water after each session.

The 3DXL Chamber is a wear part. If flavour or vapour production starts to decline, it should be replaced. Puffco sells replacement chambers individually.

The Peak Pro V2 is the premium model with the largest chamber, app control, wireless charging, and the longest battery life. If you do not need app features, the New Peak is significantly cheaper.

The Peak Pro V2 is aimed at experienced concentrate users looking for the maximum in flavour and vapour quality. The 3DXL Chamber, precise temperature control, and water filtration combine to deliver an experience that no pen and no cheaper E-Rig can match.

It is less suitable for occasional users who only dab rarely, or for users on a small budget. If you do not need an app and can manage with fewer cycles, the New Peak is a cheaper alternative.

The Peak Pro V2 is not intended for dry herbs — it works exclusively with concentrates (wax, shatter, rosin, live resin).
