About this vaporizer
The Yocan Cubex is a cube-shaped wax pen for concentrates in a distinctive cube design with an aluminium housing. TGT coil instead of wire winding
The Yocan Cubex uses the in-house TGT coil (Target Coil): it combines a ceramic donut with a quartz rod, the so-called XTAL, and works without an exposed heating winding. The resistance is around 0.4 to 0.5 ohms. This design heats the concentrate more evenly than an open wire coil and produces powerful clouds. You select the intensity via three voltage levels — 3.0 volts, 3.6 volts and 4.2 volts. The Cubex does not offer degree-accurate temperature control, but the levels cover the usual range for concentrates.
Large battery in the cube
Alongside the cube-shaped aluminium housing, the most striking feature of the Cubex is its battery: at 1,400 mAh, it is unusually large for a wax pen and lasts one to two days depending on use — significantly longer than most dab pens in this class. It charges via USB-C in around one to one and a half hours. A preheat function warms the concentrate beforehand, while a safety shut-off after fifteen seconds prevents overheating.
