About this vaporizer
The Yocan Uni Pro 2.0 is a box mod for 510 cartridges and the successor to the Uni Pro. Both carry 650 mAh, but differ in almost everything else: the 2.0 charges over USB-C instead of micro-USB, sits in a zinc-alloy housing instead of plastic, and adjusts voltage from 1.8 to 4.2 volts in 0.1-volt steps. An OLED display shows voltage, charge level and mode. The patented height slider and the diameter dial up to 14 millimetres take practically any common cartridge and hide it inside the housing.

What distinguishes the 2.0 from the Uni Pro
The capacity remains unchanged at 650 milliampere-hours, but almost everything else is different. The charging port has changed from Micro-USB to USB-C, the housing from plastic to zinc alloy, and the voltage range now starts at 1.8 rather than 2.0 volts. The dimensions are also different. This is more than a minor model update, and it explains why both generations are often sold side by side: Depending on the shop, anyone searching for "Uni Pro" may find either device.
Voltage in 0.1-volt increments
Instead of fixed levels, the 2.0 allows the output voltage to be adjusted freely between 1.8 and 4.2 volts, in increments of one tenth of a volt. This matters with cartridges because their coils are designed differently: A cartridge that vaporizes cleanly at 3.6 volts may already begin to burn at 4.0 volts. The OLED display shows the selected value, along with the charge level and operating mode. For viscous oils, there is a preheat function that runs at 1.8 volts for ten seconds.
Height slider and diameter adjustment dial
Two mechanisms ensure that the cartridge disappears completely inside the housing. A slider on the side raises or lowers the 510 connection so that cartridges of different lengths sit flush. A dial widens the opening to a diameter of up to 14 millimetres. Both mechanisms are patented and are the main reason for the device's size: It is wider than a pen, but what it contains is not apparent from the outside.
Who the device is suitable for
The Uni Pro 2.0 is aimed at anyone who uses different cartridges and does not want to reconsider compatibility with every change. Those who always use the same cartridge can also manage with a simple battery without voltage control. The zinc alloy makes the device more robust than its plastic predecessors, but also heavier. It does not have its own chamber for concentrates or herbs — it is a battery with a cartridge holder, not a vaporizer in the strict sense.
