The GTS Hub heats using conduction: the chamber walls are heated and transfer warmth to the herb through direct contact. This produces dense vapour from the first few draws, unlike pure convection devices, which expose the material only to hot air.

The chamber is made of gold-plated stainless steel, while the vapour path is made of zirconia ceramic. This combination of materials - called "Gold Technology" by Zeus - distributes heat evenly and is flavour-neutral. Gold is chemically unreactive and does not impart its own flavour, while zirconia withstands constant heat over the long term. The temperature range of 205 to 225 °C is the most widely discussed feature of the GTS Hub. Three fixed presets are available directly on the device:

• 225 °C - denser vapour and a more powerful effect

The app also allows you to select any exact temperature within this window, such as 212 or 220 °C. However, the range is notably narrow at only 20 degrees - many portable vaporizers cover 170 to 230 °C or more. However, anyone who likes to start at 180 °C for a flavour-focused session or wants to go higher will encounter a genuine limitation here.

The GTS Hub connects to the Zeus app (iOS and Android) via Bluetooth Low Energy. Pairing takes only a few seconds. In the app, you can adjust the temperature to the exact degree between 205 and 225 °C, configure the session timer and check the battery level. The current chamber temperature is displayed in real time, and the device vibrates as soon as the target temperature is reached.

Whether you actually need the app depends on how you use the device: the three presets (205, 215, 225 °C) can also be selected directly on the device without the app. The app's added value lies in fine-tuning and the real-time display - particularly with the long 80-second heat-up time, it is useful to see the progress instead of waiting blindly. Firmware updates are also installed via the app without a computer. However, this assumes that Zeus will maintain the app over the long term.

It is important to be honest here: an 80-second heat-up time is no longer competitive in 2026. By comparison, the Mighty+ takes around 60 seconds, many convection devices heat up in under 30 seconds, and a TinyMight 2 is ready within seconds.

This waiting time is noticeable in everyday use. You press the button and have to wait; a brief vibration and the LED changing from blue to green indicate when the chamber is ready. Without the app, you cannot see the current temperature, making the wait feel longer.

To be fair, once the chamber is warm, the 3500-mAh battery lasts a long time. You can heat it once and then vape several sessions in succession without waiting for the full heat-up time each time. However, anyone who prefers spontaneous short sessions - taking a few quick draws and putting the device away again - will not be happy with the GTS Hub. For longer, planned sessions, the heat-up time is barely significant.

The built-in 3500-mAh battery is one of the larger batteries in the portable class. Zeus states around 90 minutes of continuous operation - depending on the temperature and your drawing technique, around 6 to 10 sessions per charge is realistic in practice.

It charges via USB-C, with a full charge taking approximately one hour. Passthrough charging is supported: you can use the device while it is connected to the cable. This makes the GTS Hub reasonably suitable for stationary use at home, even though it is primarily a portable device.

The battery cannot be replaced. This is manageable with the three-year warranty, but it is a long-term consideration: after an expected 300 to 500 charging cycles, the capacity noticeably declines. Anyone who prefers devices with replaceable 18650 cells, such as the POTV Lobo, should bear this in mind.

The GTS Hub includes several clever features that make a difference in everyday use:

• Motion sensor: the device detects whether it is being moved and adjusts its display and standby behaviour accordingly.
• Haptic feedback: a brief vibration indicates that the target temperature has been reached - you do not need to look at the display.
• Power saver: if the device remains unused for around 10 minutes, it switches off automatically to preserve the battery.
• Integrated multi-tool: the supplied gold-plated tool releases the mouthpiece and helps to empty the chamber.

Individually, these functions may seem minor, but together they result in a device that anticipates your needs. Automatic switch-off prevents a flat battery if you forget about the device, while haptic feedback eliminates guesswork during heat-up.

One component that sets the GTS Hub apart from the usual package contents is the supplied Zeus Xtruder Grinder. It grinds the herb and is also designed to fill the ArcPods directly: grind the herb, turn the Xtruder over the capsule and fill it without crumbs or changing tools.

This may sound like a minor detail, but it noticeably saves time and mess in everyday use. Anyone preparing several ArcPods for travelling gets an efficient workflow with the Xtruder: grind, fill, close the pod, done. For beginners, the set completely removes a typical hurdle - assembling the right accessories.

The GTS Hub uses the ArcPod system - stainless steel dosing capsules that each hold around 0.3 grams. You fill them in advance, insert them into the chamber and keep the chamber clean because the material remains inside the capsule. For use on the go, this is the most convenient option: prepare several pods and swap them within seconds without handling loose herb.

The chamber also works without pods. Filling it directly often produces slightly more vapour because the material sits more closely against the hot chamber walls. Use the pods for maximum convenience and cleanliness; fill the chamber directly if you want to extract the last bit of vapour density. Both options are available at any time.

At 225 °C, the vapour from the GTS Hub becomes noticeably warm. Anyone wanting cooler, smoother draws can use the water pipe adapter (WPA) for common 14-mm joints: it routes the vapour through a water pipe, cooling and humidifying it.

Zeus also offers its own water filtration solution for this purpose, the Iceborn, which is designed for the GTS Hub. Particularly at the higher temperature settings, water cooling provides a noticeable improvement in comfort and takes the harsh edge off the vapour. Both adapters are not included and are purchased separately. Anyone who mostly vapes at home can noticeably improve the device's comfort with water filtration.

The GTS Hub mouthpiece combines zirconia ceramic, medical-grade plastic and silicone. These materials are heat-resistant and flavour-neutral, ensuring that the vapour does not pick up unwanted flavours on its way out. The mouthpiece can be removed easily using the supplied multi-tool - important for cleaning.

The entire vapour path is designed to deliver clean flavour: from the gold-plated chamber base through the zirconia guide to the mouthpiece, the vapour does not come into contact with cheap heated materials. This is one reason why the GTS Hub delivers comparatively clear flavour despite using pure conduction. During longer sessions, it is advisable to clean the mouthpiece regularly to keep the draw unrestricted.

Operation is straightforward and also works entirely without the app:

1. Switch on: hold down the power button until the device responds.
2. Fill the chamber: remove the mouthpiece and loosely fill the chamber with medium-fine ground herb, or insert a prepared ArcPod.
3. Select the temperature: choose one of the three presets (205, 215, 225 °C) on the device or set an exact temperature via the app.
4. Heat up: after around 80 seconds, the device vibrates and the LED changes from blue to green - the chamber is now ready.
5. Draw: inhale slowly and steadily for 10 to 15 seconds.

After around 10 minutes without use, the GTS Hub switches itself off. To switch it off manually, hold down the power button again. There are no further steps - the device has deliberately been designed to be beginner-friendly.

Despite the narrow temperature window, you can get a lot out of the GTS Hub:

• Grind: medium-fine and even. With pure conduction, a finer grind provides better contact with the hot walls.
• Fill level: fill the chamber well but not too tightly without a pod; with an ArcPod, fill the capsule evenly.
• Temperature ramp: start at 205 °C for full flavour, then increase to 215 or 225 °C to release the remaining active compounds.
• Drawing technique: draw slowly and steadily. With conduction, a calm draw produces denser results than forceful inhalation.

Because the GTS Hub maintains the temperature throughout the entire session, it is worth vaping a chamber in two or three stages instead of using everything at one temperature. This noticeably extracts more aroma from the same amount of herb.

The Zeus Arc S Hub is the sister model and often causes confusion when purchasing. Both share the same Hub concept with docking station, the ArcPod system and the 3500-mAh battery. The most important difference lies in the controls and features:

• App and Bluetooth: the GTS Hub uses Bluetooth app control with exact temperature adjustment in the range of 205–225 °C. The Arc S Hub is the simpler, app-centred version of the same platform.
• Chamber: the GTS Hub uses the gold-plated "Gold Technology" chamber.

The GTS Hub does not win this comparison through raw performance figures, but through its complete package: anyone wanting a tidy set with a grinder, pods, cleaning accessories and app control without additional purchases gets everything from a single source. Anyone needing fast readiness or a wide temperature window would be better served by the alternatives mentioned above.

The GTS Hub already includes suitable cleaning accessories with the Zeus Purify Grime Kit. Here is how to keep the device in good condition:

• After every session: brush out the chamber while the device is still slightly warm - residues come away more easily this way.
• Regularly: remove the mouthpiece and soak it in isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes, then rinse it with water and leave it to dry. Clean the vapour path using a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
• With ArcPods: because the material stays inside the capsules, the chamber remains clean for longer - a quick clean every 10 to 15 sessions is often sufficient.

The gold-plated chamber and zirconia vapour path tolerate this cleaning without issue and do not absorb unwanted flavours. Keeping the mouthpiece and path clean preserves fresh flavour and an unrestricted draw over the long term.

Zeus provides a 3-year warranty for manufacturing faults affecting the electronics and battery - above average in the industry, as many manufacturers offer only one or two years. Wear parts such as the mouthpiece, seals and ArcPods are excluded from the warranty. As TVape's own brand, Zeus has the advantage that spare parts and accessories remain permanently available through its own distribution network - an important consideration for a system that relies so heavily on proprietary accessories.

• Little vapour: usually caused by grinding too coarsely or filling the chamber too loosely - grind more finely and fill the chamber evenly. The higher setting (225 °C) also produces more vapour.
• Only hot air / no vapour: drawing too early. Wait for the vibration and for the LED to change to green.
• App does not connect: switch Bluetooth on your phone off and on again, then pair the device again; ensure that the app is up to date.
• Restricted draw / blockage: clean the mouthpiece and vapour path; remove residues dissolved with isopropyl alcohol.
• Device switches off: normal after around 10 minutes without use (power saver). Simply switch it on again.
• Long wait at start-up: caused by the system's 80-second heat-up time - heat up once and vape several sessions in succession.

The Zeus Arc GTS Hub is the right choice if you want a tidy complete set with a vaporizer, grinder, dosing capsules, cleaning accessories and docking station from a single source - without having to assemble accessories yourself. The gold-plated chamber, app control and long three-year warranty round out the package. For planned sessions at home where heat-up time is not an issue, it is a convenient, beginner-friendly device.

It is less suitable if you need fast readiness (the 80 seconds are its greatest weakness), want to use a wide temperature window below 205 °C or value a replaceable battery. In that case, consider a TinyMight 2, an Arizer Solo 3 V2 or the POTV Lobo. Anyone who can live with these compromises gets a well-designed system with a fair warranty in the GTS Hub.
