About this vaporizer

The DynaVap VonG is the wood version of the VonG line: a titanium tip with captive cap, a wooden body over a titanium liner and a tapered mouthpiece for 10 mm and 14 mm joints. It is heated with a torch lighter or induction heater; the cap clicks after about 7 seconds. Since 2022 DynaVap only sells the VonG (i) Titanium; the wood version remains as leftover stock and second-hand.

Wooden Body over Titanium Liner

The midsection of the VonG is turned hardwood, usually dark Cocobolo, with a lighter variant known as «Blonde Cocobolo». Inside sits a titanium liner that forms the vapour path. The wood insulates: the grip stays cooler during heating than a metal shaft, and every piece has its own grain pattern. Unlike the later (i) version, the wooden sleeve is fixed in place and cannot be swapped out.

Titanium Tip and Captive Cap

The VonG tip made from titanium has a three-part profile with five cooling fins and a multi-notched chamber; the notches break up coarse material during loading. The cap clicks once the vaporization temperature is reached, and clicks a second time as it cools. With the Adjust-a-Bowl the chamber can be reduced to half its size, for smaller doses.

Straight into the Bong

The tapered titanium mouthpiece fits 10 mm and 14 mm joints — no separate water pipe adapter needed. The VonG works just as well without glass: simply draw directly from the mouthpiece. The combination of DynaVap extraction and water cooling delivers dense, cool draws.

2021 Edition

In 2021 DynaVap revised the VonG: new titanium tip, new wooden grip, and an adjustable airflow. Retailers list this variant as «VonG 2021» or «VonG '21 Wood & Titanium». A year later the VonG (i) Titan arrived without wood, and since then the wooden VonG has no longer featured in the manufacturer's range.

How Do I Clean and Maintain My Vaporizer?

Tip and cap can go in isopropyl alcohol, but not the wooden body: wipe it dry only, or condition it occasionally with a small amount of oil — wood and alcohol do not mix. Clean the joint of the mouthpiece regularly with a cotton bud so it sits flush in the glass.

Wooden VonG or VonG (i) Titan?

The wooden VonG is lighter, warmer in the hand, and usually cheaper to obtain. The VonG (i) Titan has a rotating, interchangeable sleeve for airflow control, can be fully disassembled, and tolerates isopropyl alcohol on every part. Those who want spare parts and colour variants should opt for the titanium version; those who prefer the wood can still find the VonG 2021 at select retailers.
