Induction heating: precisely adjustable from 30–100 Watt
The YLL 3.0 generates a high-frequency magnetic field that induces eddy currents in ferromagnetic tips. The power can be adjusted from 30 to 100 Watt in watt increments – together with the heating duration in seconds. Low watts for flavour-focused vaporisation, high watts for dense clouds in one draw. The display shows the set values exactly.
Unlike flame heating, heat distribution with induction is even – no one-sided heating, no combustion. The click mechanism of DynaVap tips is triggered more precisely than with most lighters.
Research context: A study in the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Hazekamp et al., 2006) showed that vaporisation at controlled temperatures releases over 95 % of the desired active compounds, while combustion by-products are largely avoided. Source: PubMed 16637053
Dual 21700 batteries and USB-C
The YLL 3.0 is powered by two 21700 batteries (not included). This size offers more capacity than 18650 cells and enables many heating cycles per charge. Charging via USB-C is possible, or the batteries can be charged externally in a charger.
Recommended batteries: Samsung 40T, Molicel P42A or comparable high-drain 21700 cells.
Display with 180° flip function
The display shows watts and seconds – the two values you actually set. No gimmicks, no overloaded menu. The 180° flip makes it readable from any angle, whether the YLL is standing on the table or lying in your hand.
Glass chamber and safety
The replaceable glass chamber can be adjusted in height (remove the battery cover, push the ceramic insert up from below). This allows adjustment for different tip lengths. A 60-second shut-off prevents accidental overheating.
YLL 3.0 vs. Ispire The Wand
Both are induction heaters for DynaVap and similar devices, but with different approaches: the YLL 3.0 offers adjustable watts (30–100W) and heating time, uses 21700 batteries and has a flip display. The Ispire Wand offers temperature control (120–425°C), uses 2x 18650 and can also be used as a dab rig. The YLL is more powerful and more flexible in its settings, while the Wand is more versatile thanks to its concentrate mode.
