QaromaShop Taroma XL

The body is made from milled aluminium, the bowl from heat-resistant borosilicate glass. The heating element is housed in a stainless steel casing. All airpaths run exclusively through glass and steel — no plastic in the vapour path. The power supply delivers enough power to bring the quartz balls up to 371 degrees C in under two minutes. With a 14/18 mm joint, the Taroma XL fits standard water pipes and bubblers.

Loading is direct: the material sits on a screen in the bowl, and QaromaShop does not offer dosing capsules. Those who want larger quantities simply fill the bowl fuller. After the session, a quick brush is all it takes to remove residue. The quartz balls themselves stay clean for weeks, as no plant material adheres to them.

Compared to the Staroma 360, the Taroma XL offers a higher maximum temperature and a larger ball volume. The Baroma 2.0 has a similar temperature range, but a different bowl design. The 360XLS stays at 254 degrees C, making it better suited to users who prefer moderate temperatures. All four models share the quartz ball principle and the WPA connection.

The Taroma's XL bowl holds significantly more material than the standard version, making it particularly well suited for sessions with multiple people. Whilst the standard bowl holds approximately 0.15 grams, the XL bowl can accommodate up to 0.3 grams. For a group session with three to four people, one load is sufficient for four to six hearty draws per person. The larger surface area of the stainless steel balls ensures that air flows evenly through the entire material, rather than carving a channel. The result is a complete extraction without stirring and consistent vapour quality from the first draw to the last.
