About this vaporizer
The Boundless CFV is the pure convection successor to the CF and combines a 2,500 mAh battery with a stainless steel heater that reaches 221 ° C in around 25 seconds. The bowl floats in the airflow so your herb doesn't touch hot metal - the flavor boost over the old CF is immediately noticeable.
You get three interchangeable heat rings, WPA support and dosing caps, so you can switch between pocket sessions and glass adapters without any modification. The battery lasts about six cycles and charges via USB, while the lightweight plastic housing keeps the CFV portable despite the powerful heater.
At rank 86, the CFV is right for you if you want convection without having to maintain a sensitive manufactured device. The one-button operation remains the same as the CF, so you can easily show friends what a boundless conduction device feels like versus a modern convection stick.

Full Convection Heating
The CFV stands for Convection Forced Vaporizer — and the name is accurate. Unlike the hybrid CF, the CFV uses pure convection heating where hot air is drawn through the herb on each inhale. This on-demand style means the material is only heated when you draw, which conserves herb and preserves flavour between puffs. The trade-off is that the first draw takes a moment to produce visible vapour as air heats on its way through the packed chamber. Slower, longer draws of 10–15 seconds work best. The convection system produces some of the cleanest flavour available at this price point.
Oven Loading for Convection
Convection vaporizers have different packing requirements than conduction devices. For the CFV, grind material to a medium consistency and load it loosely — do not tamp it down. Airflow needs to pass through the material freely for the convection system to work properly. Overpacking reduces vapour quality and increases draw resistance. The oven holds about 0.4 g, but half-filling it works perfectly fine for solo sessions. Temperature-wise, 185–200 °C produces the best flavour-to-vapour balance. The OLED display shows exact temperature in real time, so you can monitor heat-up progress and know precisely when to start drawing.
Maintenance and Battery
The CFV stays cleaner than conduction vaporizers because herb does not bake onto the oven walls. A quick brush-out after each session is usually sufficient for daily maintenance. Weekly, remove the mouthpiece screen and soak it in isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes. The glass mouthpiece option, available as an accessory, is easier to keep clean than the standard plastic piece and adds slight cooling to the vapour path. The 2500 mAh battery provides 6–8 sessions per charge, and charging via USB takes around 3 hours. The large battery and efficient on-demand heating mean the CFV can last a full day for moderate users.
