About this vaporizer
The High Labs Trippy 2 is the second generation of the Polish conduction vaporizer. In hands-on testing, the device scores 8.5 to 9 out of 10: dense, surprisingly cool vapour from the very first draw, no harshness, noticeable draw resistance as expected from pure conduction. The battery grew from 2000 to 2,600 mAh (around 80 minutes according to the manufacturer), USB-C charges 75% faster, and a vibration signal indicates when the target temperature has been reached. Five presets ranging from 160 to 220 °C, ceramic chamber, isolated glass vapour path, 121 g stainless steel body. Our price comparison shows current offers from across Europe.

Hands-on Impression: 8.5 to 9 out of 10 in Practical Testing
Cleaning the Trippy 2 — Step by Step with Isopropanol
Preparation: The device MUST be fully cooled down before cleaning — immediately after a session the chamber is still warm and iso evaporates too quickly. Allow 5 to 10 minutes of cooling time. You will need: isopropanol (90% or higher), two small cups, cotton buds with a paper stem (not a plastic variant that sheds fibres), kitchen paper.
1. Pull out the glass tube: Grip the groove at the top of the mouthpiece end with your fingernails and pull gently upwards. Place it straight into the first iso cup.
2. Remove the mouthpiece and bottom piece: Place both parts into the second iso cup.
3. Scrape out crumbs dry: Before iso comes into play, use a blunt tool (NO sharp implement — the mesh at the bottom of the chamber can be punctured) to scrape out the coarse deposits and drop them into the iso cup.
4. Wipe out the chamber: First dry with a cotton bud, then dip a second bud briefly in iso and run it along the chamber walls. Hold the cotton bud upright while doing this — if it tips over when pressed, it will leave fibres or material behind in the chamber. After the first iso wipe, go over the vapour channel a second time with a fresh iso bud — better safe than sorry. Squeak test: If the cotton bud squeaks when wiping, it is clean. Important: do not let iso run into the electronics — use sparingly at the junction between the chamber and the body.
5. Remove the glass tube after 10 to 15 minutes: While it is soaking in the iso, give the cup a brief shake — dissolved deposits loosen more quickly. Dry it with kitchen paper and wipe through the glass tube from both ends with a dry cotton bud — the inside is usually dirtier on one side than the other. According to the manual, the glass tube may remain in the iso for as long as you like — the silicone seal ring, however, should not soak for more than around 30 minutes, otherwise compounds may leach out.
6. Reassembly: Place the plunger back into the chamber, insert the glass tube with a gentle press and twist, and attach the mouthpiece and bottom piece. Allow all parts to dry completely before heating up for the first time, then run once on the highest setting without any material — this evaporates any remaining iso residue. Safety note: iso is very drying on the skin — moisturise your hands after cleaning. If the vapour tastes of iso on the first draw, do NOT inhale — allow it to dry longer, then heat empty again.
Cleaning tip — brush: The included cleaning brush does not fit through the narrow glass tube with some deliveries — the bristles are set too wide at the front. Instead of the brush, you can use cotton buds with a paper stem (not plastic, which leaves fibres) or a pipe cleaner from a tobacconist — both fit through cleanly and reliably clean the inner wall of the glass tube.
Trippy 2 vs Trippy 1 — what has specifically changed
Battery: 2,000 → 2,600 mAh (+30% battery life, from around 60 to around 80 minutes).
Charging speed: 75% faster via USB-C — an 18 W charger is sufficient.
Vibration feedback: new — signals when the target temperature is reached, no need to read a display anymore.
Temperature distribution: the five presets (160 / 175 / 190 / 205 / 220 °C) are more evenly spaced — even level 1 delivers more active compounds than the old minimum.
Retained are the ceramic chamber, the isolated glass vapour path, and the stainless steel body. The manufacturer's warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase, extendable to 3 years by registering the product. The same operating concept (two buttons, no display) means: anyone who knew the Trippy 1 will feel immediately at home.
Trippy 2 vs Veazy — conduction versus convection hybrid
Trippy 2 vs XMAX V3 Pro — simplicity versus feature list
Usage: Drawing or passive airflow — and the battery indicator
After switching on, you need around 25 seconds until the vibration signal indicates that the target temperature has been reached. You then have two inhalation modes:
Active draw: Lips on the mouthpiece, draw steadily as you would on a water pipe. Delivers denser clouds, as more airflow passes through the hot chamber.
Passive airflow: Let the air pass through the device passively 2 to 3 times without actively inhaling. Delivers flavour-forward vapour — ideal for levels 1 to 2 (160–175 °C) when you want the taste without dense clouds.
Battery indicator: Five LED dots show the charge level in broad steps — no percentage value, but perfectly practical. Four or five dots = full reserve. Two dots = still 4 to 6 sessions left, time to charge. One dot = plug in USB-C before the next session — pass-through vaping is possible: the device can continue to be used while charging.
Auto-shutoff: After 7 minutes of inactivity the device switches off automatically — protects the battery and prevents accidental heating in the pocket.
Usage tip: During the second session in a row, the body becomes noticeably warmer than during the first — this is normal, not a fault, and is due to the accumulated residual heat in the chamber.
Draw tip: Longer, slower, and more even draws get the most out of the chamber — short, intense puffs deliver less dense vapour, as the hot air does not have enough time to fully penetrate the material.

Dimensions, Materials, Box Contents and Build Details
Component Details: Inside the chamber sits a small tamper that keeps the material in place during a session — simply remove it with your fingers when cleaning, and reinsert it by pressing and turning gently when reassembling. The base screen in the chamber can be removed for cleaning — grip it with your fingernails and drop it into an ISO bath, rather than fiddling around it awkwardly. The glass tube transition — the connection between the chamber and mouthpiece — is notably clean in its construction: a detail that is by no means a given at this price point. One quirk: the groove at the top of the mouthpiece is slightly narrower on the inside than the rest of the stem — cotton swabs tend to get stuck there, so insert them slowly with a twisting motion.
Box contents according to the manufacturer: USB-C cable, cleaning brush, herb tool, and instructions. Depending on the shop, additional items may include: a USB-A to USB-C cable (power adapter not included), a cleaning kit (brush, cotton swabs), replacement screens, and sometimes a carrying pouch. Some boxes come without a separate screen insert or without a double base — this is not guaranteed, so check the shop's listing. The metal section in the base piece is not cleanly folded on some units — functionally non-critical, but a cosmetic blemish. Warranty: 2 years from the date of purchase, extendable to 3 years by registering with the manufacturer.

1In hands-on testing, the Trippy 2 scores 8.5 to 9 out of 10 points. Testers praise the dense, surprisingly cool vapour from the very first draw, the absence of throat harshness, and the simple two-button operation. Marks are deducted for the small chamber with a maximum capacity of 0.25 g.
First, let the device cool down completely (5 to 10 minutes). Then soak the glass tube, mouthpiece, and base piece in isopropanol (90%+) — 10 to 15 minutes is sufficient; the silicone should not soak for more than 30 minutes. Remove crumbs first by dry-scraping with a blunt tool (NO sharp objects, or the screen will be punctured). Wipe the chamber dry with a cotton swab, then go over it again with an isopropanol-dipped swab — if the swab squeaks, it is clean. For safety, run a second isopropanol-dipped swab through the vapour channel once more. Before reassembly, let all parts dry completely, then run one empty heat cycle at the highest setting.
Three safety points: (1) Do not let isopropanol run into the electronics — apply sparingly at the chamber-to-body junction. (2) Isopropanol degreses skin strongly — moisturise your hands after cleaning. (3) If the vapour tastes of isopropanol on the first draw after cleaning: DO NOT inhale. Isopropanol vapours are generally not intended for the lungs. Leave to dry longer and run another empty heat cycle at the highest setting until the smell has completely gone.
The battery grew from 2,000 to 2,600 mAh (+30% battery life, roughly 80 instead of 60 minutes). USB-C charges 75% faster. A vibration signal indicates when the target temperature has been reached. The five temperatures (160, 175, 190, 205, 220 °C) are more evenly distributed — even the lowest setting delivers more flavour than on its predecessor. The chamber, glass vapour path, and body have remained identical.
The Trippy 2 is pure conduction: more draw resistance, simple operation, dense vapour from draw one. The Veazy (convection hybrid) delivers a smoother draw and slightly more convection clarity, but usually costs more. Flavour and cloud production are on a par. For an entry-level device in the 80- to 90-euro class in a pocket-friendly form factor, the Trippy 2 is the better choice.
Both are possible. Actively drawing with your lips on the mouthpiece delivers denser clouds because more airflow passes through the hot chamber. Alternatively, you can let the vapour pass through the device passively 2 to 3 times without actively inhaling — great for flavour sessions at settings 1 to 2 (160–175 °C). During a second consecutive session, the body becomes noticeably warmer — this is normal.
The list price is around 85 euros. At Polish shops you can currently find it for around 87 euros (converted from 379 PLN). Up-to-date prices including shipping are shown in our price comparison above on the page — the spiders crawl every 24 hours.
Yes. Operated via two buttons, five pre-set temperatures, a vibration signal when ready, and five LED battery dots as an indicator — no app, no display reading learning curve, no calibration of draw behaviour. Recommended starting point: 175 to 190 °C, which delivers flavour-focused vapour without any harshness.
Yes. After approximately 7 minutes without any interaction (no button press, no inhalation), the device switches off automatically. This protects the 2,600 mAh battery and prevents accidental heating if you put the Trippy 2 in your pocket without switching it off. To restart, hold the button down.
No. The 2,600-mAh lithium-ion battery is permanently built into the stainless-steel housing and cannot be removed without tools. In the event of wear or a defect, the device is returned via the manufacturer's warranty (2 years, 3 years with registration). Battery cycle lifespan is typical for this battery class — several years under normal use.
Before the very first session: wipe out the chamber once with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol, then dry-fire three to four times at the highest setting (220 °C) without any material, so that manufacturing residues burn off. Grind size: according to the manufacturer's instructions, medium-fine — too fine clogs the airflow, too coarse falls through the bottom screen. If the included brush does not fit through the glass tube: cotton swabs with a paper stem or pipe cleaners from a tobacconist work just as well.
