The housing is made from PEEK (polyether ether ketone), a high-performance polymer from the medical industry. PEEK is food-safe, heat-resistant, and far tougher than standard plastic.

The filling chamber holds 1.4 cubic centimeters and is made from aluminum — a key difference from the Mighty+, whose chamber has a ceramic coating. The cooling unit sits on top and uses a labyrinth airflow path that brings vapor to a comfortable temperature before reaching the mouthpiece.

The Mighty lacks the stability fins found on the Mighty+, but its wide base keeps it upright on flat surfaces.

The LC display shows current and target temperature simultaneously. Two buttons (+/-) adjust temperature in 1-degree steps across a 40-210 C range. A vibration alert — a novelty when the Mighty launched in 2014 — signals when target temperature is reached.

After one minute of inactivity, the Mighty shuts off automatically to save battery and prevent overheating.
