Adjustable airflow lets you match the draw to your preference. That is an additional control; whether you prefer the result cannot be derived from a spec sheet. The colour display is likewise a change in equipment. We award no automatic winner for flavour or vapour quality on that basis.
What the two models have in common
Eleven of the rows above are identical on both devices. The TopGreen pages we checked give the V3 Pro and V4 Pro the same temperature range, the same stainless steel chamber, the same isolated air path, the same battery format, the same charging method and both operating modes; both support pages describe the device verbatim as pure convection.
That is the actual finding of this comparison. The documented upgrade is smaller than the jump in model number suggests. The claim that the V4 Pro changes heating category, or that the V3 Pro is a hybrid, is not supported by the manufacturer pages we checked.
Battery, runtime and charging
On capacity the manufacturer’s own pages disagree — and they disagree identically on both models: every product page says 2,550 mAh, every support page says 2,600 mAh. The 50 mAh gap may come from cell revisions or stale pages; neither page explains it. We show both values rather than feign certainty. Either way, no capacity advantage for the V4 Pro follows from it.
For runtime, both support pages give the same figure under an explicit condition: at least 12 sessions per charge with six-minute sessions at 220 °C. That is a manufacturer figure, not a measurement of ours — and it applies at the highest temperature, where the battery works hardest.
On charging, both support pages state: more than six hours for the first charge, then around three hours with a 5 V / 1 A adapter, or four to five hours at 500 mA. A charger above 5 V / 2 A is refused by a protection circuit, according to the manufacturer. For cell life TopGreen gives 350 charge cycles before performance declines — with a removable battery that is more a question of the next cell than of the device.
USB-C is documented, use while charging is not
Both product pages document USB-C charging. None of the four pages we checked states clearly that either device can be used while charging. USB-C and passthrough are two different claims; this comparison therefore leaves use while charging open rather than assuming it.
How much extra is worth paying?
Compare both offers for the same delivery country and the same currency. Include shipping, any applicable coupons and, where relevant, import charges. A low item price on its own does not answer the buying question.
- First purchase on a fixed budget: take the lower suitable delivered price if the two extras do not matter to you.
- First purchase wanting airflow control: look at the V4 Pro first and decide on the actual premium.
- You already own a V3 Pro: name the function you are missing first. A newer model name alone is not added value.

Is the V4 Pro always better?
It offers additional functions. Whether they justify a higher price depends on whether you want airflow control and a colour display. We have no own head-to-head comparison of vapour quality for this article.
Does the V4 Pro have a bigger battery than the V3 Pro?
No, the manufacturer pages we checked do not support that. Both product pages say 2,550 mAh, both support pages say 2,600 mAh — the contradiction applies equally to both models. We therefore give both values rather than pick one.
How long does a charge last?
TopGreen states at least twelve sessions per charge for both models, explicitly with six-minute sessions at 220 °C. That is a manufacturer figure at maximum load, not an independent runtime result. Actual runtime depends on cell condition, temperature and session length.
Can I use the devices while charging?
The four manufacturer pages we checked say nothing about it. USB-C charging is documented; that is not the same as passthrough operation. We therefore leave the point open.
Can I reuse V3 accessories with the V4?
Check the models explicitly named on each accessory page. Similar product names or the same battery type do not establish compatibility of mouthpieces, capsules or adapters.
Why is there no fixed price difference?
Shop prices, shipping and discounts change. The two offer links lead to the current comparisons; a permanently stated premium would go out of date quickly.

We checked the four official TopGreen pages on 14 September 2026 and took only figures visible there into the table. Where product and support pages disagree, both values stand. Prices and shop counts come from the live price comparison and stay separate from manufacturer claims. The buying recommendation is our reading of that specification, not a measurement. Product images serve model identification; colour variants may differ.
