The Rogue SE refines the original Boundless Rogue with USB-C charging, improved haptic feedback, and a slightly longer battery life. The oven, heating system, and vapour path remain identical — so if you are choosing between the two, the SE is the better buy for the updated charging standard alone. USB-C ports are more durable than micro-USB and compatible with modern phone chargers. The rubberised exterior finish is unchanged: it provides good grip and resists minor drops. The mouthpiece swivels to expose the oven for loading, which is more convenient than screw-off designs.
Session Performance and Temperature
The Rogue SE uses hybrid heating with five preset temperatures between 182 °C and 215 °C. Heat-up takes about 25 seconds, which is competitive for its price class. The 0.35 g oven handles a solid personal session, and the hybrid heating — conduction from the walls plus convection airflow — produces reasonably even extraction. Draw resistance is on the tighter side, which some users prefer for sipping-style sessions. Battery capacity is 2300 mAh, good for 7–9 sessions per charge.
