Click Mechanism
The J.P. Finley uses a bimetallic disc in the cap that audibly clicks when vaporization temperature (around 200°C) is reached. It clicks again when cooling down — your signal to reheat. No guessing, no display needed. The technology is simple and proven over years.
Build and Materials
The J.P. Finley features limitierte Kollaborations-Edition mit Finley-Design. The tip holds the herb chamber and, together with the cap, determines click temperature. All parts are modular and individually replaceable. The device is virtually indestructible — just metal and physics, no electronics.
Usage Tips
Fill finely ground material, don't pack too tight. Heat the cap with a jet lighter while rotating — closer to the tip means hotter vapor. Wait 1-2 seconds after the click, then draw evenly. Second heat cycle: heat longer for thicker clouds. Push through the condenser to empty.
Cleaning and Care
Soak all metal parts in isopropanol and clean with a pipe cleaner. Do NOT soak the cap in ISO — just wipe dry, or the click point may shift. Swap screens every few weeks. Replace O-rings as needed. The whole device fits in a pocket.
