About this vaporizer
The DynaVap BB3 is a purpose-built water pipe companion. "BB" stands for Bubblerbell, which accurately describes what this piece of stainless steel is designed for: you insert it directly into a water pipe joint and draw through the glass. The result is a DynaVap session with full water filtration and cooling, without any adapters or workarounds.
The operating principle is the same as any DynaVap. Heat the tip with a butane lighter or torch until you hear the click — that audible and tactile signal means the metal has reached optimal extraction temperature, around 220°C. Heat-up takes about 8 seconds. Draw, get your vapor, wait for the cool-down click, and repeat. No battery, no charging, no electricity.
The 3-hole tip is specific to the BB3 and distinguishes it from standard DynaVap models. Three airflow holes instead of the usual one produce a more even airflow through the herb, which means more consistent extraction across the bowl. It's a small design choice that makes a noticeable difference in practice.
The joint compatibility is the central engineering consideration. The BB3's stem is sized to fit standard water pipe joints directly — you'll want to confirm your glass's joint size before buying, but the fit with common sizes is designed in from the start. Once inserted, the BB3 seals well and doesn't require any adapter.
Stainless steel construction means the BB3 can handle daily use indefinitely. It doesn't rust, doesn't warp under repeated heating, and wipes clean quickly with isopropyl alcohol. DynaVap's 2-year warranty covers the workmanship. For anyone who already owns a water piece and wants to bring butane-powered DynaVap extraction into their setup, the BB3 is the direct route.

The DynaVap BB3 is the glass option in the DynaVap lineup: a borosilicate glass body that doubles as a stem and 14mm water pipe adapter. At just 28 grams, it's one of the lightest DynaVaps. The vapor path stays completely metal-free — pure glass flavor without compromise. It fits all DynaVap tips and heats up in seconds with a jet lighter or induction heater. Available from around €52.
Build & Borosilicate Glass
The BB3 stem is made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass. Three glass balls inside cool and condition the vapor. The glass is 3 mm thick and handles normal use, but is more fragile than the stainless steel M.
Unlike metal stems, the BB3 has no condenser — the glass balls take over. The vapor path is completely metal-free from tip to mouthpiece.
Click-Cap & Heating
Like all DynaVap devices, it uses click-cap technology: heat the tip with a jet lighter until the cap clicks audibly — that's the signal to inhale. After cooling (5-8 seconds) it clicks again, ready for the next cycle.
Temperature varies with technique: heating closer to the cap end gives lighter vapor, closer to the tip gives denser clouds. Expect 3-5 heat cycles per fill. For a flameless alternative, induction heaters like the YLL 3.0 or the Ispire Wand work well.
Vapor Quality & Glass Balls
The three glass balls are the highlight: they swirl the vapor, cool it down, and deliver a smoother draw than a standard metal stem. The glass itself adds no taste.
Flavor-wise, the BB3 ranks among the best DynaVap offers. Fans of clean taste without metallic notes prefer this one.
Chamber & Loading
The standard DynaVap tip sits on top with about 0.1 g capacity. The BB3 is not compatible with dosing capsules. Fill material directly into the tip, loosely packed.
The tip is swappable — titanium tip owners can use it in the BB3 as well.
Water Pipe Compatibility
The BB3 has a 10mm fitting and connects directly to bongs and bubblers. Glass-on-glass — the cleanest connection. This makes the BB3 the ideal water pipe stem for DynaVap users.
With glass balls plus water filtration, vapor gets double-cooled. Especially beneficial at higher temperatures.
Cleaning & Care
Brush glass parts after each session. Weekly: soak stem in isopropanol (90%+). Glass balls can't be removed individually — soak the whole stem.
Advantage over metal: glass absorbs no odors. After drying, the stem smells fresh. Handle with care — don't drop on hard floors.
What's in the Box
Included: BB3 glass stem with tip and cap, DynaWax, and brush. No lighter included — get a single-flame jet lighter separately.
The BB3 is also available as a standalone replacement stem if you already own a tip and cap.
